Village School addition (sports court & outdoor classroom)
Charlottesville
Description
A pre-application conference for an addition at the Village School with an outdoor sports court, outdoor classroom, crosswalk, and street art on 3rd Street NE. The board was supportive but flagged the astroturf surface, fence height, and traffic speed.
Impact summary
The school would gain outdoor recreation and classroom space plus a safer street crossing, pending a formal CoA application.
